- Vice President of Finance and Controller
Location: Sunnyvale, CA - Manage the general ledger and ensure the accounts reconciliation are made in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage the month-end closing of Oracle A/R, A/P, F/A and GL modules.
- Manage the A/R, collections, and prepare weekly rolling cash forecast.
- Establish a month-end closing calendar with procedures to ensure timeliness of close.
- Analyze the balance sheet and income statement accounts to explain and identify business reasons for variances.
- Manage the cash reconciliation process, the review of control procedures, and the development of recommendations for process improvements to safeguard the liquid assets of the company.
- Preparation of monthly financial package containing balance sheet, departmental income statements, cash flow, and budget vs. actual analysis.
- Establish and maintain the internal control (SOX404) policies and procedures. Develop corrective actions for any control deficiencies identified.
- Organize and plan workload to ensure that objectives are met including daily, weekly, and monthly close activities.
- Sales tax, property tax, annual audit and tax schedules.
- Develop financial plans and business metrics to meet the business needs.
- Manage cost, FP&A, and IT.
- CPA preferred with advanced knowledge of Oracle 11i and Microsoft Office.
- Develop strategic plans for each supplier to eSilicon to maximize the support the company receives from it's suppliers in the areas of pricing, allocation, technical support, co-marketing, lead sharing, and road map alignment.
- Work with other organizations (marketing, operations, etc.) to define and drive the product strategies of the suppliers to ensure alignment with the needs of eSilicon.
- Work with eSilicon's legal department to negotiate all purchase contracts for the company.
- Ensure that eSilicon is favorably viewed by all its suppliers and articulate eSilicon's strategy and how the suppliers fit into this strategy.
- Hold regular business reviews with eSilicon's suppliers to provide them with feedback on their performance and to receive feedback and updates from them.
- In the case of issues with suppliers, work with eSilicon's quality department to implement corrective action plans.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate independently.
- 15 years of ASIC or semiconductor industry experience in operations and supply chain management is a must.
- Manage the interface with eSilicon's suppliers in the areas of IP, EDA, mask, wafer and assembly
- Primary interface to eSilicon's IP supplier base and deliver IP partner solutions to eSilicon’s sales teams
- Implement strategic plans for assigned suppliers to eSilicon with the objective of maximizing the support the company receives from its suppliers in the areas of pricing, allocation, technical support, co-marketing, lead sharing, and roadmap alignment.
- Working with other organizations (marketing, operations, etc.) define and drive the product strategies of the suppliers to ensure alignment with the needs of eSilicon

- Have managed hardware development from schematic definition, hardware layout (probe cards and load boards) and verification
- Have worked on load board development for digital and mixed signal devices
- Has the ability to select testers based on device requirements and test list
- Has the ability to develop test plans based on device requirements and test list
- Has worked with automatic test suppliers (Verigy, & Teradyne) on tester roadmaps and determine what would be useful for the devices we have in development or for future requirements
- Has the ability to select and work with out side test development companies to manage overload capacity
- Has done and is an expert in test development of chips that have Scan, MBist, PLL, DC parametric testing, functional testing, Serdes testing, DAC and ADC both static and dynamic testing
- Has managed or done probe cards for wire bond (cantilever) and flip chip (vertical) devices
- Has excellent communication skills and has the ability to present

- Has experience working with offshore production test facilities in disposition of lots, test correlation and release
